Terms & Conditions

An experienced person or installation company must handle all equipment sent to us for attention. They must be fully competent in the removal and re-installation of such equipment. Lek Trix Enterprises Ltd shall not be liable for any costs arising from improper installation and/or faults that develop as a result from incorrect installation or use after a repair is completed.
All equipment left with us must have full contact details attached and a list of any accessories left with it. All equipment must be supplied complete.
There is a quotation fee of £30.00 per item; this covers the cost of providing a repair quotation.
A quotation will be supplied for each piece of equipment, which is valid for 28 days only. After this £15.00 per month will be incurred to cover the cost of storage and handling.
A signed copy of our quotation must be received by us (either by fax, e-mail or post) before work is commenced.
If a new quotation is required after the previous one has expired then the quote fee of £30.00 will be charged again.
If a quotation is not accepted then the quote fee is retained and the return carriage costs are required before dispatch unless collecting in person.
Payment is required in full before any work is commenced. This includes items collected from our premises. Cheques to be made payable to Lek Trix Enterprises Ltd. Our bank details can be supplied upon request for bank transfer payments. We also accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro and Solo. (Sorry, we do not accept American Express at this time). Minimum card transaction £10.00.
Cheques must be cleared before goods can be collected or dispatched; this applies to both personal and business cheques.
All repairs have a 6 month guarantee. This covers the repair, parts, labour and return carriage. This guarantee is void if the tamper proof label has been removed, mishandling, misuse or because of normal wear and tear. Our guarantee does not cover the cost of returning the equipment to us. Proof of purchase is required without exception and the item is required complete with all parts and accessories before repair or before a refund can be given.
Any equipment left with us, either for a quotation or repair that has not been collected or returned by us to you after 3 months has elapsed (because of non-payment or no response after a quotation is sent) will be disposed of. One warning letter will be sent advising of the disposal date. You will have 28 days to respond.
All items sold, both used and reconditioned by us, carries a 1-year guarantee. This covers the repair, parts, labour and return carriage. This guarantee is void if any attempted repair work has been carried out by any persons or firm or if any security label/s have been removed, mishandling, misuse or because of normal wear and tear. Our guarantee does not cover the cost of returning the equipment to us. Proof of purchase is required without exception and the item is required complete with all parts and accessories before repair or before any refund can be given.
Installations require a signed contract and minimum 50% of the total cost prior to commencement of work.
A charge of £50.00 is payable to us to correct any error regarding direct debit payments incorrectly collected. We shall not be liable for any charges relating to method of payment adopted.
Lek Trix Enterprises Ltd. employs a strict policy regarding the misuse of resources and as such will not except any marketing from any person or firm under any circumstances, this includes telemarketing, fax, e-mail, postal and salespersons.
Suppliers and subcontractors who deal with Lek Trix Enterprises Ltd are expected to deliver good service at all times and any problems that do arrise should be dealt with quickly and effectively. Failure to do so will result in problems for our customers and this cannot be allowed. Failure of suppliers/subcontractors to respond if problems should arise will result in Lek Trix Enterprises Ltd withholding payment until such a time as a satisfactory outcome is reached.
Lek Trix Enterprises Ltd will not be liable for any delay in or failure to perform any of its obligations, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
No claim for damages can be made once returned items have been signed for. It is the responsibility of the signee to ensure that goods are received in good condition before signing for them.
We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery under payment legislation if we are not paid according to our credit terms.
No addition to or variation of these conditions will bind the company, unless it is specifically agreed in writing and signed by a director or secretary of the company. No agent or person employed by or under contract with the company has the authority to alter or vary in any way these conditions.
